Plush You, and you and you!

Knock knock...Who's there? Holy-awesome-radness! (And it's kicking in the door!)
We're crazy excited to say that Fluffy Goodness will be participating in this year's Plush You! Gallery show in October!!! For those who have not yet learned of the greatness that is Plush You!, you can check it out here. It's a show run by Schmancy store owner Kristen Rask and as far as we're concerned, it's the most respected show in the community...and we're honored to be a part of it this year! So thank you Kristen, now we're off to create stuff until we tucker ourselves out!

Winning.

As Charlie Sheen subtly reminded me, I almost forgot to post this awesome news! Fluffy Goodness was awarded an Editor's Choice Award at the 2010 New York Maker Faire!!! This pretty much made our day, scratch that, month! We had a blast and quite a few creatures found new homes that day. Thank you to Chris Connors for this fantastic honor :)

Maker Faire!

Hey there everyone! I'm more than excited to announce that Fluffy Goodness will be setting up a creature adoption center at the BUST Magazine booth at this weekend's Maker Faire!!! The fair is being held on the old world's fair grounds in Queens, NY. How rad is that? Very rad!

We'll be there on Sunday the 26th and we'll have plenty of creatures who can't wait to be unconditionally loved! (They've been a bit fidgety lately, pacing around the workshop pondering who will adopt them. It keeps them up at night and it's getting a bit distracting.) So come on out and adopt one this weekend! If you can't make it out this weekend you can always adopt them here or order a custom one!

I'd also like to give a HUGE thank you to the lovely ladies at BUST for all their support, especially Susan Juvet for organizing these Craftaculars and Emily Dirienzo for featuring Fluffy Goodness in the vendor spotlight! You ladies rock!

Not Yo Mama-Rama!

This weekend we had a smashing good time! Fluffy Goodness was happy to be a vendor at the second annual Not Yo Mama's Craft Fair. Kat Hulka once again made for an awesome booth-mate helper (as you can see above). I want to personally thank the organizers Sophie Penkrat, Leah Siegel-Picus and Megan Gülick. These ladies rock and pulled off an amazing event! The live bands were rockin', the food was delicious and the fans! What can I say, it was so great meeting all of you. I appreciate all of your business, lots of creatures found good homes this weekend. Thanks again to everyone, I'll keep you posted on where we'll turn up next! For a few more photos from the event, check out our Fan Page on Facebook. While you're at it, tell the world how you feel, become a fan of Fluffy Goodness!

As always, please help us spread the Goodness!

Danish love for Fluffy Goodness!

Recently I was contacted by Danish editor Kristina Beyer of Danish magazine BoligLiv. I am happy to report that our own "Bolin" (pictured above in the highlighted area) was featured as the face of Fluffy Goodness! With a short blurb about where he came from, the article "Stuffed Monsters vs. Aliens" in the October 2009 issue is a good read...sure it's not in a language I fully understand but I pretty much got the gist and I couldn't be happier! Thanks Kristina! Hej til alle mine nye venner!

Renegade Wrap Up!

Hello! It's been a week since the Renegade Fair in Brooklyn and I'm happy to report it was a success! We had a great time meeting tons of people and thankfully we had plenty of adoptions. I feel good knowing that so many creatures now have a good home. It was really great meeting all of you who stopped by! Your enthusiasm for Fluffy Goodness was really encouraging. Thanks for all the compliments and support. :) The weather couldn't have been better and the turnout was exactly as we had hoped. We had plenty of "Free Sexy Gumballs" for everyone and giant Pixi-Stix for all who adopted.

It was also great to meet lots of really cool vendors such as Jessica from Cherry Box Studios, Brian from Participate, the folks at Charmingwall, the lovely ladies at 3 Story Design, Garbella, and the dudes at Seattle Show Posters. Also, I ran into fellow animator Will Krause and we did a little art swap. He got a Byno (aka white furry tooth) and I got some of his awesome comics and a DVD of his shorts. Fantastic!

Special thanks go out to a nice young lady named Cait for adopting "Harriet" the giant Squin. Her donation of $55 will be going to the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. That coupled with the $45 previously donated will make for a nice $100 to the charity. Thank you very much for that!

In the next week I'll be putting a bunch of the little guys who are still around up on Etsy so be sure to check back and see what's what!

p.s. a huge special thanks go out to Kat Hulka and Chris Pau for waking up at the butt crack of dawn and helping me out both days. You guys are the best! Thanks to everyone for helping to spread the Goodness!

Up For Adoption!

Seven Siblings are up for adoption on Etsy! www.fluffygoodness.etsy.com These guys won't be at the Renegade Craft Fair so if you have a semi-stable home life and find yourself lacking happiness in your life, you can cheer up and adopt them here. They've all had their shots and won't pee on your fancy rugs, that's a promise.
